That One Forgotten Thing

Once upon a time, there used to be the animals, who would walk on two legs, who could paint their thoughts, on the cave walls. They were using, the noises of their tongues, which would be knocking, on their teeth. The always varying vocal cords, would make a sound. And everyone used to do that one thing, which becomes absent.

A rolling stone, was broken into a number smaller ones. It would take slope, to let it roll. Either wood, or the carved rocky disks, would be used, to carry the heavy objects, inside the cave, or away from the horizon. Throughout their journeys, they used to act in that extinct way.

Spoken word was the carrier of the wisdom, but the papyrus and the press, promoted the ink. When speech used to be valued, the animals walking on the leg one, and the leg two, would do an interesting technique, that began fading away.

Then came a world, where only the favourite views would be repeated, on a daily, a weekly, a monthly or annually scheduled basis.

And so, the two-legged noisy animals, have forgotten that single-most important thing…

Listening, with patience.
